Annual Patrons' Ball

The Annual Patrons' Ball is the signature event of the OSF St. Mary Foundation. Each year, a committee of dozens of community members come together to continue a tradition of spectacular events and highly successful fundraising that funds a particularly important project at the medical center.

The 18th Annual Patrons' Ball was held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Soangetaha Country Club. 180 people attended the event which was themed Venetian Carnival. The committee included nearly 50 volunteers and was led by Chairperson Mrs. Mary Burgland.

In honor of the event, Eichhorn Jewelers donated a 3.24 carat T.W. Goldman and Klober 14kt diamond bracelet. The retail value of the prize was $10,760. Mrs. Denise Foote was the lucky winner. Our special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eichhorn for making this spectacular Raffle possible.

The funds that resulted from Venetian Carnival will support Electronic Staff Education and Development. We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our volunteers, sponsors, advertisers and patrons.

Employees of OSF St. Mary Medical Center, OSF Galesburg Clinic and the OSF Medical Group in the Galesburg, Illinois area also give generously to the OSF St. Mary Foundation, helping to purchase needed equipment and support new services and programs.

An employee campaign is held each year in October, organized and promoted by the foundation staff and a committee of volunteer employees. Since 1994, OSF St. Mary employees have contributed over $700,000 to the medical center. OSF St. Mary is a very special place where employees are so dedicated and motivated to making positive changes for our patients.

Caring-Sharing 2013
On November 15, 2012, OSF employees celebrated raising over $55,000 for the 2013 Employee Campaign. The theme for this year's campaign is, "Our Employees Rock." The project for this year is to replace all of the water fountains throughout the hospital with Easy H20 water coolers/bottle fillers, with 10 percent of the total amount raised going to the Above and Beyond Fund, the OSF St. Mary employee relief fund. All participating employees received a water bottle as a thank you.

Donations are still being accepted. To participate now, download an Employee Pledge Form and return it to the OSF St. Mary Foundation office.
